Upload an Image
1) Use the form to upload an image into the ArtScanner database. You will then be given your image's barcode. You will also be sent an E-MAIL MESSAGE asking for you to CONFIRM the upload.
2) You MUST click on the CONFIRM link in the e-mail message order for your image to become available at an ArtScanner pod. If you don't get the e-mail message then you should look for it in your 'spam' folder.
3) The e-mail message will also contain a copy of the barcode and instructions for DELETING your image, so you should keep hold of it even after you have confirmed your upload.
4) Rather than printing just the barcodes by themselves, consider creating COMPOSITE IMAGES that use your ArtScanner barcodes and place these at the ArtScanner pod. Or maybe create a SEQUENCES of barcodes for people to scan in a certain order.

You must only upload images for which you own the copyright, or are in the public domain. You should not upload images that are illegal or likely to cause offence. You should also avoid using ArtScanner for blatant commercial purposes - although promotion of individual artists, or arts groups, is acceptable. ArtScanner has the right to remove any images that we feel are inappropriate or offensive. While you maintain the copyright of the any images uploaded, you grant ArtScanner the right to use screenshots containing them in promotional materials for the ArtScanner project. If you want to be acknowledged as the creator of the image then you should include any relevant text on the image itself. Your e-mail address will not be displayed with the image and will only used for confirmation purposes, or for occasional communications about the ArtScanner project.
