ArtScanner

ArtScanner has finished its initial run at The Phoenix and The Depot. Thanks to all those who contributed. Join the mailing list for news of future installations.

ArtScanner allows you to upload images via this Web site and have them displayed in real-world exhibition spaces and galleries.

When you upload an image to ArtScanner you will be given a barcode in return. This can be printed and placed near an ArtScanner 'pod' in an exhibition space. When visitors to the pod scan your barcode with the barcode reader they will see your image.

If you are not able to place barcodes near an ArtScanner pod in person you can still have your images shown. All uploads form part of a pool of images that are randomly shown when an unrecognised barcode is scanned by a visitor.
